Vote for Jordan!
Everyone, please follow this link and vote for Jordan in the Hannah Montana contest.
The pic is from Halloween last year. I know I already emailed many of you...but I'm covering all my bases!
If she wins she will receive tickets to the Hannah Montana concert in OKC. Thanks for your vote!

The Pumpkin Patch
We went to the pumpkin patch today with Stacy, McKenna & Brice. The kids had tons of fun picking out pumpkins, riding ponies, going through the dark scary maze & feeding the farm animals.
This is one of many pumpkins Jordan picked out, put back...over and over again.
I wonder where she gets it from?? Ha.
These two were actually just sitting here, together, at the same time.
We didn't even have to make a bribe for this picture!

Jacob's 5 year pics
Well I took Jacob out yesterday to try and take some pictures. Yes, it's about time, his birthday was in July!
I first took him to the train tracks. He was so worried about a train coming that I don't think he really ever relaxed. And as you can see in the photos, we would know if a train was coming. Then we headed over to the playground. That's just too distracting for a five year old. But I think I got one good shot. Now if I just knew how to edit these! Let me know which one you like. I don't even know where to start and these are just a few.
Jordan's 11th Birthday
We celebrated Jordan's 11th birthday this month.
I cannot believe she is 11. She is excited about being a tween. And plays the role perfectly.
It seems like we have been celebrating all month long. We had family come two weekends in a row to celebrate and then she had her birthday party with her girlfriends the following weekend. The girls had fun. They played karaoke, painted their nails and did their hair. Then they posed for pictures and made frames to take them home in. Poor Jacob begged me not to let all of those girls come over to our house. He invited Austin over so that he wouldn't be the only boy. Luckily for him Brice came and they pretty much stayed out of the girls way.
Here are a few pics from her party and a couple from long, long ago....

Who are you kidding??
Jacob's soccer team played their 1st game today in the 5 & 6 year old division. I think they lost by 1 or 2 goals (because we still don't keep score...whatever). Jacob finally made our 1st goal towards the end of the game and then they made one more after that. This division is going to be quite a challenge for them. But after winning almost every game last season in the 3 & 4 division, they need the challenge.
I am all about being challenged to grow and improve. But I want to see the super giants who produced this 5 or 6 year old. Let's take a vote, who thinks this kid is 5 or 6??? Maybe he was 6 last spring when they 1st had fall sign-ups and the parents thought "Technically he's 6 as we sign him up now." Then he turned 7 the next day.
Shame on you parents!
With all that being said, the poor kid was not that good. He was big and fast but it took him the whole width of the field to turn the ball around. So ok, maybe if we go by talent rather than age? I don't know.
Preschool today, High School tomorrow.
Here are a couple of more pics from Jacob's very 1st day of school. They should have been included in the last post but I somehow deleted them and could not get them back. So if anyone knows how to get a pic back after you've hit the backspace one too many times, let me know please!
Going into the class room. He is ready to go. The door opens and he is gone, no hug, no "Goodbye mom", or "Please don't leave mom." I don't even think he looked back :( He saw Austin (yep, they are in the same class), and went right over to his hook to hang up his backpack.
He loves going to school. I love him going to school. I've asked myself, "Should I feel guilty that I enjoy the 2 1/2 hrs to myself? Even more, should I feel guilty that I hope that they go to all day kindergarten next year?"
