Wild Ones

We recently went to Guthrie for family reunions. We stayed with Todd's parents and took some pics outside with the trees around. We don't have nice big trees in our yard. They keep dying. That's another story.
The kids got to go for a ride with Papa Carl on his Harley. Jacob just loves it (if you can't tell by the big smile on his face). He looks so little on there and Jordan looks so big!
That better be the ONLY bike we catch her on!

Go Fire!

Jacob had his 1st t-ball game this week. I think that him in his little uniform is the cutest thing I've ever seen! He loves it. I don't think they keep score at this age but don't tell him that, he thinks they won. They let all of the kids bat instead of calling strikes and outs. This way all of them gets to bat, all of them are on the field chasing the ball so everyone plays. If you ask him which he likes best, soccer or baseball, he will say "both of 'em".

He is throwing it to first.

The only problem is that Austin here is playing first. He does not make it back to the base and turned around before Jacob throws it to him. This happened a couple of times. So after a couple of times Jacob here is telling him "Austin, always look at me! I'm going to throw it to you!"

Thanks coach Jake.

Easter is here....where's spring?

Well Easter came and went and it still feels like winter here. But that didn't stop the Easter egg hunts and us girls wearing our Easter dresses and cute new sandals.
The kids dyed Easter eggs. Jacob had two poor little eggs that didn't make it. They got dropped into the dye and cracked. As you can see by his hands he really got "into it". His hand looked like an Easter egg by the time he was finished.

Storm Warning!

Jacob's team "put on a clinic" at last week's game (yes I am becoming a true fan and learning the lanuage, ha). Nevermind that most of the opposite team didn't know which end their goal was at and that the goalie had her bunny with her. They are all just so darn cute. The Owasso Storm are hopefully headed for another winning season. No, winning isn't everything, but it sure is fun!!!! :)

I love this picture. Jacob looks intense. These guys couldn't wait to be put in the game. What impresses me is that they are actually watching and waiting to go in at any moments notice. Jordan's team of 10 year olds don't even do that.
Jacob's bringing it down.

Here he is right before he scores. I think he got 4 goals this game.

Conner and Jacob are discussing their game plan.

We're still here!

I know, I know! I've been hounded long enough! ha. It has been a while since I posted. I do have pics to share, just wait until all of you have two kids in sports at the same time....you'll understand then. Jordan had her last basketball game last week. They had a great season winning all of their games. Finally! I was afraid she wouldn't want to play anymore after losing game after game after game... Jacob started soccer a couple of weeks ago. He's been off to a slow start I think because of his asthma. He said it was because his cleats are too slow...how funny is that?? Anyway, he is acting more like his old self this week. Doing some trick moves and kicking it hard into the net. He will start t-ball later this season. Busy, busy. But I love it.

Bring it on

Get ready for the "pivot".

I'm on her, no where to go chica.

You're not getting by me!

The Calm Before the Storm...

Jacob just had to sleep with his hat on. He also has his two favorite pillows and his two favorite blankets. But doesn't he look peaceful?

Strike a pose.

As some of you know, Jordan took modeling classes last fall. I was taking her to OKC once or twice a month for class. She finally had her graduation at the end of January in Dallas. She did wonderful. She was the youngest in her group and did better than most of the "big girls". What comes next?...We don't know. We are waiting for the phone to ring with auditions. Hopefully some print ads or maybe local commercials. As you can see above, Jacob kept himself occupied during the show with his pixter and Jordan's mp3. The show lasted 2 hrs!

I'm not sure why this pic is not coming up, but if you click on it you can see it. If you click on any of these, they will enlarge.
