The Calm Before the Storm...

As some of you know, Jordan took modeling classes last fall. I was taking her to OKC once or twice a month for class. She finally had her graduation at the end of January in Dallas. She did wonderful. She was the youngest in her group and did better than most of the "big girls". What comes next?...We don't know. We are waiting for the phone to ring with auditions. Hopefully some print ads or maybe local commercials. As you can see above, Jacob kept himself occupied during the show with his pixter and Jordan's mp3. The show lasted 2 hrs!

Jacob wanted to pose with his army clothes on and his army gun from Bass Pro...ha. Notice which eye he uses to look through the scope. Mitch was here that day and he told Jacob he could take that gun to go hunting with his dad. Jacob told him "it's not a real gun!" Duh Mitchell.....

My Creative Side

I've started a new hobby....making bows. I needed something more to add to my list of "to do's"...ha. Unlike cleaning the house or paying bills, I actually enjoy this. I'm still trying to perfect it. Too bad my daughter is getting too old for them, my nieces and friend's daughters will just have to benefit from it.

Christmas day

Here are a few pics from Christmas...yes, finally! We had a quiet Christmas day here at home. We went to our families Tues & Wed. Our kids like it, we celebrate Christmas for three days!

Peyton is cooking up some Christmas dinner for us. It was mostly burgers from McDonalds...ha!
She is Traci (Todd's sister) & Cody's little girl. That is Tyler, his brother Scott's little boy, getting ready to walk in front of the camera. It is so crazy at his mom's house when we are all there. Just kids everywhere!

Here is my sister's daughter, Kaylee.

This is Conner, her little boy. He is the same age as Jacob. Get them two together and it's as if the house if full of kids! They have lots of fun together.

We played Karaoke all day on Christmas. We even got Jacob in on it.

Here is Jordan with her presents. The big hit was the karaoke game. It is fun. Those of you who saw her at the Halloween party know she loves to sing.

Here is Jacob with all of his "army" stuff. It's all over the house now. Now I just need to clean out their rooms for a trip to Goodwill.

Santa Clause is coming to....Bass Pro!

I am a little behind on my updates...
We went and saw Santa at Bass Pro. Can't get anymore "Okie" than that. The kids loved it. I loved it because there was no mall line. And I could use my own camera..ha. The kids picked out their Christmas presents. Oh, and Jacob wanted to get Todd a boat for Christmas. Oh well, maybe next year....
